Gardeners Against Hunger is a youth-led nonprofit initiative based in Morris County, NJ. We connect local gardeners with families in need in partnership with nourish.NJ. Our website is gardeners-against-hunger.vercel.app.

We collect information you provide directly when submitting forms on our site:

• Produce donation forms: name, email address, phone number, garden type, town, produce type, estimated weight, and scheduling details.
• Volunteer sign-up forms: name, email address, phone number, volunteer interests, and availability.
• Garden partner applications: organization name, contact name, email, phone, address, county, and organization details.
• Contact form: name, email address, subject, and message.

We do not collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or government-issued ID numbers.

We use the information you provide solely to:

• Coordinate produce pickups and drop-offs with nourish.NJ
• Follow up with volunteers and match them to opportunities
• Respond to contact form messages
• Track aggregate impact metrics (total pounds donated, number of gardeners)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Form submissions are stored in a secure database hosted by Supabase (a PostgreSQL database service). Access to this data is restricted to site administrators only — anonymous users cannot read submission records.

Our website is hosted on Vercel.

We retain form submission data indefinitely to track long-term impact and volunteer history. If you would like your data removed, email alexkothari@gmail.com with your name and email address and we will delete your records within 14 days.

Our site uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymized page view data (page URL, referrer, country, browser type). This data does not include personally identifiable information and is not used for advertising targeting.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing cookies.

Our site is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. Our forms include a required age confirmation checkbox. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information without parental consent, contact us and we will delete the record promptly.

You may request:

• Access to the personal information we hold about you
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion of your information
